The Forgettables CD cover shown above, is based on a photo I shot at the Microsoft fountain in Redmond, in December 1992. While the photo-shoot centered around "Lake Bill", the shot above - taken around midnight between old Microsoft buildings 1 and 5 captured the time best.

The boys were on their way to a world tour, singing and playing original rock and country songs for the Department of Defense; similar to the USO tours; to entertain the troups stationed overseas. First they -- Billy Hale, Rick Fertado, and Jimmy Chase -- toured Washington State in a old cadillac. Billy's band continues to play DOD tours everywhere from Paris and Amsterdam to desert holes and tropical island paradises.

I printed up the photograph, scanned it into Photoshop, tweeked it with some standard tools and entitled the CD, "Rode Hard and Put Away Wet" from their song by the same name.
